It is our volunteers and supporters who form the backbone of the Legion. Without them we would miss not just the money they raise on our behalf, but the enthusiasm and human touch which they bring to the work they do for us.
Any time is valuable - whether you have just an hour a week, or a day per week.

A fleet of "little ships" which rescued Allied troops from Dunkirk in 1940 has set sail from the south coast to mark the 70th anniversary of the event.
More than 50 vessels are heading to France to commemorate Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of some 338,000 soldiers from Dunkirk's beaches.

This week marks the 70th anniversary of the evacuation from Dunkirk. To commemorate this, two Royal Navy warships and around 50 of the original ‘little ships’ will gather today in Ramsgate. Tomorrow they will set sail for Dunkirk, replicating one of the greatest escapes in history - Operation Dynamo.
